On being compared

It’s only natural to be compared at work. You know something, and they know something. It makes a straightforward common ground for a comparison.

How you should approach this fact, is by embracing it: being a subject of comparison is a way to get better, and grow. By seeing somebody else as the prime example, you can see what, and how you can improve. Your skills, your toolset, your mindset, and approach.

Being compared is a good thing, just make the effort to be compared as a good example.
