When procrastination creeps in and you feel like reaching your goals gets only harder, you need to act smart.
Sometimes just pushing through is not enough, because the hardest part is starting. If you feel like this describes your life, we have a simple solution: get an accountability coach.
It doesn't have to be a real coach, a friend or colleague will work too! It should be somebody that you respect and doesn't have the official authority over you, but you would feel bad disappointing them.
If you cannot wake up on time or always have yet another little thing to do making you late, ask your work colleague or a friend to check up on you. Very often a simple "good morning, are you up?" or "are you already on your way?" is enough.
You can also ask your coach of friend to make regular checkups on your progress (or specifically if you make some). Don't tell them what you plan (it works in a demotivating way), but instead show what you have done, even the smallest increment.
Don't be ashamed of asking for help. Showing a bit of vulnerability helps building strong and meaningful relationships and you will be surprised how many people will be more than happy to help you get better and be part of your positive transformation!
