Reacting mindfully

When facing and adversarial situation, or unknown, or upsetting, it’s easy to get emotional, and loose control of one’s mind.

What if instead, you let your mind to see the situation, and observe? See how it unravels, weigh-in the arguments, and different perspectives as they come and happen around you.

When I tried to react mindfully to the chaos around me, I noticed things are rarely that bad. Failures are not that critical. It was just my mind spinning around, getting backed into the corner.

Next time you feel your emotions rising, take a deep breath, and let yourself see what happens. Don’t sabotage yourself.
