Growing up

I believe there’s a certain threshold we pass when growing up. Perceiving the reality, material objects, and experiences as a shared domain of our loved ones and family, is what separates children from adults.

As a teenager, and I hope you can relate to that, I was always thinking about things for me. Not in a selfish way, but as a part of me forming an identity. My games, my TV series, my hobbies.

Nowadays I rather see these as something I happily share with my partner, and rest of the family. In a conceptual way, these things are not taken away from me, when used by somebody else, but rather are being enriched with my family’s experiences.
