The problem is, biographies are references. They just, if not only, describe facts the way they'd happened. Repeating that success story will be hard and almost impossible, because the world changed a lot since then. Our heroes had different life situation, connections, experience and knowledge. It's their story and their journey.
Reading about principles instead is timeless. Ideas, concepts, and values live forever and do not vanish so rapidly. They can withstand the trial of time, because we all share them in some degree.
