The season of spreading joy

I have a confession to make: every year I’m longing for the Christmas season. I couldn’t get enough.

It’s not the coziness, the candles, and soft lights. It’s not the cakes, hearty food, and Glühwein.

Christmas is the season of spreading joy. The time of the year, when we are allowed to think about ourselves, and other people in our life. When it’s okay to be a little bit clingy, say nice things, and gift each other.

There’s something magical in the kindness, and generosity, that we create during the Christmas season, and I wish we could have it all-year-long. This cross-cultural, worldwide phenomenon of joy.
